TRACY EVERLY

Tracy Everly transforms layers of paint into evocative, multi-dimensional images, each emerging through a process of deliberate creation and erasure. Working with brushes, palette knives, ceramic tools, and even ordinary kitchen implements, she builds an image only to abrade its surface, exposing the textures and colors beneath. This continual process of revealing and obscuring creates the impression of scenes overlapping in time. Through this tactile exploration, she captures the elusive qualities of light, atmosphere, and memory. Her ethereal compositions distill multiple moments into a single, simplified form—a kind of visual poem.

Everly is an award-winning artist who lives and works in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts but is largely self-taught.  Awards include an Award of Distinction from the American Impressionist Society, two awards from the prestigious Phillips’ Mill Juried Exhibition, and two Bucks County Resident Artist Awards from the Bucks County Plein Air Festival. Her work has been included in both regional and national exhibitions.  Everly teaches online and conducts in-person workshops across the U.S.
