THE GALLERY
Since its establishment in 1996, Morpeth Contemporary has promoted emerging and mid-career artists working in a variety of media, from painting to sculpture to photography. Some are self-taught, others Pennsylvania Academy alumni; some abstract, others practically precisionist in their representation of what they see in the world, or the simple object, before them. All inevitably dance somewhere along that vibrating string. The point, beyond skill, is seeing: vision. We have them because they have vision, a way of seeing things that moves or interests us and thus is worth promoting.

THE FRAME STUDIO
Tucked behind the gallery is a full service picture framing operation. We specialize in museum quality framing of contemporary and historical works of art. We also frame just about everything else, and our picture moulding selection is varied and extensive.
PRESERVATION FRAMING
Preservation/Conservation framing requires a more specialized knowledge in materials and techniques; insuring the framing process does no harm and is entirely reversible. We practice museum mounting to Library of Congress standards for valuable works of art.
CONSULTATION + INSTALLATION
We offer on-site consultation and installation for your home or office. Proper picture height, placement, and proportioned spacing are considered for a single work or an entire collection.
